At first glance, it looks like Bronn is the one grabbing Pod. But yeah, what would cause the brotherhood to murder innocents without a definite change in leadership? Here's hoping for LS.

I think she's still 100 percent not in the show. Podrick is being grabbed by Bronn, 100 percent. And it makes no sense for the Hound to discover LS, they never even met really.

Also, that episode 8 preview tells me anyone expecting a peaceful resolution to the Riverrun conflict as in the books, is going to be dissapointed. Armies marching, Jaime going on about killing all the Tully's. There's gonna be a battle.

I agree with Don. Cosca needs a poke with that banhammer!

I think they kept super close with the Riverlands to Feast. I mean the parlay between Blackfish and Jaime was straight from the books. Yes they cut it short but the oath to Cat, the offer to resume his imprisonment to Jaime, the greetings, the Blackfish feeling unimpressed with Jaime it's all there.

Plus some of the rest in the show scene: Bronn said a duel between the old man and a cripple but that's what book Blackfish says to Jaime! And Jaime slapping Walder as an example was also from the book. Complete with dialog too except it was Ryman he's hitting. I don't know. I think they might do the Edmure/Jaime covo with the trebuchet threat as well. And the Blackfish will have his BWB too. That might be why they brought back the BWB if not LS?! (I'm just speculating here)

I am not much of a LS fan, but the most impactful part is how it influences Brienne's character. She gets accused of being a traitor and oathbreaker and those are the last things Brienne is and it was so harrowing. Even worse is she got hanged for it and forced to betray Jaime.

I guess the show can accomplish the same things without LS and I could be ok with that.

I think, like any episode preview, it's designed to titillate and possibly throw us off what's happening. It's anyone's guess.

Maybe Brienne is going to convince Jaime to bring the Lannister troops up to Winterfell? Far fetched, I know.

It is more likely that Brienne will convince the Blackfish to go help Sansa.

There is no way the Blackfish will leave his home while it is still under threat to fight for someone else.
The siege has to be resolved quickly and he has no support. Sadly, I don't see a way out for him. He will either die assassinated or will be lured to fight. There is a reason why Edmure is being bathed and fed, he'll be the key to all of this somehow.

I have a feeling the Riverrun plot will be diffused somehow, just like the Sept showdown with the Tyrell's two eps ago. I doubt we will see any battle since episode 9 is already confirmed to be the big setpiece this season.

Thank you, Sid! highfive She's not as important to me as she used to be but it would 1) Put my mind to rest 2) She's still kind of sort of still a Stark and we need them all, especially with all the direwolves getting killed off 3) Because there's a good chance Rickon dies 4) Why else show the BWOB if not for her? Jon's already revived and finally 5) Because Michelle, just like Kit was all, "I'm dead/she's dead" and it ended up being cowpoop .

You're falling for it. The preview is MEANT to throw you off. What we're seeing here with Jaime is his exact conversation with Edmure from Feast- where he threatens erradicating the Tully family unless Edmure enters the castle and has them opeb the gates for the Lannisters/Freys (in exchange for all of their lives). Edmure's actor even implied something like that will happenAt that point, the Blackfish escaped in the books.

Now I'm not sure if BriPod will leave empty handed or return with an army, but that shot of them on a boat at night while the siege is climaxing doesn't bode well for them. I just hope the Blackfish is on that boat as well, just off screen. Otherwise he might be dead, or escaping on his own which means we probably won't see him again.

It's more likely now than it was since the finale of season 3. The Brotherhood are showing up in a sequence of scenes that were filmed in total seclution and secrecy (we had 0 information on the Hound scenes until McShane's interview, and we now know Thoros reappears as well which wasn't reported during filming). Storywise, I can see them building up to Stoneheart , but then there are two problems with that 1) the Hound has zero relation to Cat and 2) why would Stoneheart happen AFTER Riverrun and Brienne and Jaime's meetup? Kind of misses the whole point.

Aaah, then it's 99% settled. I didn't remember how the siege played out in the books exactly, but then we're looking at Edmure being forced to enter and surrender the castle, while Brienne and Pod will probably be caught in the middle of it, maybe already inside treating with the Blackfish. I kinda doubt the show will have him escape a second time, tho I really wish we could see more of him. This was a seriously underused character in the books, I wish the show would make use of him more.

Ok, this is possible. But at the same time, didn't Blackfish say he didn't care whether they kill Edmure? And don't Blackfish's men follow him above Edmure? And that shot of Brienne on the boat in the dead of night actually convinces me even more that there'll be a fight, why else steal away like that?

I accidentily saw that Sansa's letter was deciphered and it is confirmed that she writes to LF seeking his aid with the Knights of the Vale to ride to Winterfell. She promises to reward him.

Cary! #StrongBelwasConfirmed #WhereAreThePoisonLocusts

70 Min finale sounds like they will pack a bunch of things into it. I just hope it won't be too crowded. Overloading an ep can be a problem too. As for the title, I thought they bought the title along with the rights to the book whether published or not. It makes sense to use it if the Others are coming to the a Wall or even more: south of the wall in the finale. Which I have a feeling they will freakout

Yara making an alliance with Dany for the Iron Islands makes an interesting turn of events for the books. Vic says the most beautiful woman is in need of my axe. Supposedly it's the fleet for marriage? But Dany won't probably give him the time a day. So either Vic dies in the Meereen battle or she decides to capture the Ironborn fleet with her dragons (?) Interesting.

Wait, we still have a book scene. Does anyone else think the Kevan epilogue is going to take place this Sunday?

At this point it could be Qyburn *or* Varys leading it.

I think the little birds will kill Tommen and Qyburn.
Pycelle and Kevan burn in the Sept with the Tyrells and the Faith.
Other deaths: Melisandre and Littlefinger are definitely on the block, but I think either or both may survive. Melly still needs to meet Arya (or that's a continuity error) and Littlefinger might stay if the show will have Stark rivalry in season 7.

Pardon me for being repetitive, but my big hope with Sansa and LF is we see how much Sansa learned from him. In other words, I want to see her, in essence, let him know he was useful to her, but now she's gotten what she wanted from him, his usefulness is at an end, thus, so is he. It would be even better if she let him know she learned this method, at least in part, from observing him.

I would like it, but I feel it requires a fair bit of planning. She'd need to get Robin on her side. Maybe next season I think, but it's going to happen.

Yeah, I agree Jent, Cersei and Big Q are going to take out Kevan and Pycelle. It doesn't really make sense for Varys to do it now, since Kevan hasn't been in charge or making anything better. I reckon they survive the Sept explosion but get merced by Qyburn's little birds as Cersei consolidates her power.

You people. Sansa hasn't got a strong enough reason to kill LF. She herself mentioned the possibility he didn't know about Ramsay *and* he came to help them. LF survives until the last few episodes of this series, 100% sure. w

As for next episode, Tommen dies trying to save Margaery from the fire or as an accident but still fire related. Loras dies and maybe even Margaery to set off the war between the Tyrells and Lannisters. Kevan dies in the fire or assassinated, as revenge for Cersei's humiliation, Pycelle as well. Qyburn, the Mountain and Cersei are all that remains of KL in terms of known characters, at least that's how I see it.

If you look at the shot of the little birds in the trailer stabbing shit, it's very clearly happening in Qyburn's lab. I think Qyburn is in over his head thinking he actually controls the little birds, and he'll get his coneuppance in the finale. Varys is still very much in control of the situation in King's Landing. So I think the little birds kill Qyburn and then Tommen (since there won't be any heirs left after this episode, that's the smartest move Varys can do).

That's very possible with Qyburn, Jent, although what would be Varys' motivation to kill him now? I don't really see what his death would bring. I think it's also unlikely that Varys would order the death of an innocent boy who's also a bastard in fact. I see Varys striking at those who hold real power, and Tommen isn't one of them. I think it's more likely that he dies as a result of Cersei's actions. Remember that Blackwater scene on the throne? Also an event where wildfire played a major role...

Well seeing as Qyburn is Cersei's bitch now killing him would deffinitely hurt Cersei. Also, it's kind of a given thing to do since Qyburn thinks he's in charge of them and would probably do experiments on them if he caught them killing Tommen or anyone really.

Link please. I can't remember little birds stabbing scene either in a trailer. And for the record I got my money on Varys going to Dorne to meet the Bad Pooosey posse. He did say he's going somewhere for an alliance. I am guessing we will see Dorne after all in the finale. I really thought we were out of there forever.
