I think he's going with Killing Kevan subplot no? I remember there's the white raven in the trailer and a white raven shows up in the pooks too in the very last scene of ADWD, where Varys shows Kevan his little birds and murders him.
Me thinks Qyburn will kill Kevan in the show, not Varys. Varys is going to Dorne.
Oh oh and my money's also on a scene with Euron where we find out he has that dragonbinder horn or whatevah. There needs to be some tension to Dany sailing off to Westeros, and this could provide it.
I can't remember what is in which trailer, but even though the first trailer was removed by HBO (which still makes no sense to me), the gifs Abyss made from the first trailer were not affected by it, so we still have the whole first trailer shot by shot. It can be found on the trailer thread.

Link please. I can't remember little birds stabbing scene either in a trailer. And for the record I got my money on Varys going to Dorne to meet the Bad Pooosey posse. He did say he's going somewhere for an alliance. I am guessing we will see Dorne after all in the finale. I really thought we were out of there forever.
You rock, TW

Thx Jent! totally missed that. Varys allied with Qyburn?! Not buying it I'm on Macha's wagon: Qyburn does it, Varys is in Dorne. And our wagon a sure thing.
Don, Ly that Poosey (spelled like so) was was on a last year meme, and I got stuck with it. Wish had thought of that myself.
Are we sure those are little birds? I got the same impression the first time I saw the trailer, that they were stabbing Kevan, but they don't look very childish to me. It could just be the angle.

I ain't gonna wait for no Monday, Jent! I will be rubbing my righteous guess on who gets shanked and at who's instigation on your pretty little screen, because TW is on a roll now! I've been right before (like one time ) And let's not forget that Qyburn HAS been feeding his birds proper. Not like :Ramsay:
Shanker: Little birds
Shank Director: Qyburn & Cersei
Stabbees: Kevan
Oh can I say the Pycelle that Cosca advanced is soooooo tempting to put down?! I mean he's due death moment is near. Would have put him like mid season! but I fear it's the books they'll stick to this time. At least in part.
Thing is why would they use little birds to kill people when they have Mountainstein? Makes zero sense. It's not like Cersei's going to give a shit after burning down the Sept. And why would they do it in Qyburn's lab

It would be quite interesting to me if we get the horn. That will, at least in my mind, tell us it will be of some import in the books. I'll crack up if Varys does, indeed, show up in Dorne. I called Varys going to Dorne at the end of last season, but he showed up in Meereen, instead. If he shows up in Dorne this season, well, I will have only been a season off in terms of when it happens. ;)

I got an answer for that Jent. It even makes sense from Cersei's perspective! She wants to burn KL and Kevan will try to stop her (if somehow he finds out). If not, she still sees him as a figure who stands between her and Tommen. Not so unlike HS (who stands between her and Tommen)
As for why not use Frankengregor: that is a big man who always does her bidding and goes wherever she goes. And why risk being in any way connected with Kevan's death? Little birds go in, and go out, much less visible than a big ass KG. And Jaime would never forgive her. Even so, blowing up KL would be a hard pill to swallow but at least she can say to Jaime that it was aimed at HS. Kevan killed at her hands is impossible to forgive.
And TW... still seems outright ridiculous to use kids to kill Kevan. I doubt Qyburn even knows they're capable of that. I think Kevan and Pycelle both die in the fire and this is something else entirely, though still inspired by the book scene (in that Varys is responsible).
Cary, Tormund dies in a battle before getting a chance to have any land of his own I think Martin will off him in Winds and I will be heartbroken. Book Tormund won me at member thrice as big as Mance's and I never regretted it for a second!
Jent, I'm sticking to my guns and if it happens, like some guy I liked at wic once said to his buddies: I need a full letter of apology by Mon Or something similar.
I wish, Cary! I so wish!! I could say then that I see proper in the fires at least No, I just think Martin developed a certain pattern offing secondary and/or non-POV characters after developing or beefing up their sidestories (see Ygritte, Quentyn, Oberyn). Usually that happens right after he gives them some depth of character.
I'm assuming Tormund escaped his death in Dance simply because he was forced to publish and decided to cut off some chapters and move them to Winds, or continue the North story in Winds after Jon's resurrection. But I would love it if I were wrong
Cosca got it right! I was thinking during the ep on who said what but I wasn't sure. Except it was only Pycelle who got shanked. You should get an :award:
Interesting how they quoted Doran's line from the pooks with Ellaria and Varys, just don't like the sand snakes with their silly attitude being the ones representing Dorne in the alliance but ok.
So Dany already has almost half of the Seven Kingdoms on her side even before she arrived. The moment she shows up the Lannisters are fucked, i don' think they have any allies left. Then Jon marries Daenerys and re-unites the Seven Kingdoms then on to fight the White Walkers.
Those are my gusses for next season.
