Some teasers from the cast and director. Looks like they will address some issues about Rey's past but it won't be conclusive... In other words: nothing. Funny that Hamill didn't want the last shot of the Force Awakens that was a cliffhanger. Literally.
He's very outspoken, our Luke in the interview I've posted he does say he went to the writer and said "I fundamentally disagree with absolutely everything you have said and written about my character" but he's pretty open to him being wrong about it. We'll see.
it's on baby! I'm seeing it tonight too Ry. theather booked full, fandango site down at secure checkout but then.... VOILA! Said ALMOST FULL at 8 am for tonight for shitty standard viewing. Recliner seats were booked full lazy asses only got recliner seats. Wish I had one. 3 D full too at 7. WHAT IS WRONG WITH NERDS?!
Some psychedelic imagery, return to the classic force mysticism (energy vs midichloridoan science explanations) and generally awesome story! I was thoroughly excited by the time the little boy started sweeping with the force move, while the director went wide with the camera for the night star sky behind the kid. Also: total manga move with the Vice admiral suicide move. That got every kid applauding in the audience
Prequel shout out was there! you know it "I have failed you, Anakin!" I think it was cool. I don't know why peeps whine so much though about this online. It was a damn fine movie.
Ha ha I agree. But my friend couldn't decide who he liked better.. so came up with this .. he didn't know I was painting it for his 18th 😊
But yeah . LOVE Adam 😍
Saw it on Christmas. Ummm, well. I did not like what they did with Luke or Leia. She should have died and stayed dead, and he, well, it was just odd. I did not give two poops about Finn and Rose, ugh. Spent waaay too much time with those two. I did like Del Toro in there, yummy. Wanted way more Poe, he rocks. I wanted to strangle Laura Dern, too. So, :bitcheatingcrackers: , I know.

Laura Dern was bad, it almost seemed like she was thinking "Oh My God, I am in a Star Wars Movie! How cool am I?" with each line she spoke. Thought force flight resurrection Leia was a bad choice as well but we needed the see with her and Luke at the end. Should have done it differently. They didnt spend enough time w the re-union of the original characters imo.

I think stylistically you either liked or hated this movie. The frozen in space Leia and the rest of that sequence with Laura Dern's ship cutting through Snoke's flagship while in hyperdrive is so much different than anything Star Wars has shown till now visually. It's a lot of Japanese classic movie and anime style. I personally loved both.
