Rhaegar, despite wounding Robert, was struck down with a massive blow from Robert's warhammer, which scattered the rubies encrusted in Rhaegar's armor under the water. Rhaegar died with Lyanna Stark's name on his lips.
Save him, Sam! Bawled when I saw , not the last we will see of her, methinks. Not the scene in the Crypt I was hoping for, bit disappointed in that. So, not a horn but his niece and Queen of the Sand Snakes to bring to Cersei. Great to see again. Queen of Thorns is all about the fire and blood at this point. Wonder if Tyrion will be in trouble after this battle. I think Jon is making the right decision going to Dragonstone. I don't think Dany is the least bit interested in the Night's King; she'll allow Jon to take any obsidian he wants as long as he does not try to userp her.
Euron gets stabbed/slashed like a dozen times and it's like nothing? WTF? Ugh . And what the Sam Tarley is the deal with the Hobbits' Windlance? Ugh, not original. Oh, nice to know Greyworm speaks Latin
Not as good as last week, buy hey, I'll take it.

Was already fairly pissed going into the episode. Had a nice glass of bourbon during. I recall very little, but I think I didnt care much for the episode or maybe it was amazing.
What I remember:
Grey's Worm...
Missendei's Butt
Dany bitchslapped Varys
Sam healing Jorah
Nymeria

Loved this episode more than the premiere, granted 90% of the episode was just people talking. But Bryan Cogman has an ear for dialog that sounds very similar to GRRM, and the many callbacks to season past is very satisfying.
Now that the show has moved past the books, it can stop worrying about adapting shit from the written page and actually act like a TV show and pay off stuff that has been setup since season 1.
+ =
Say whatever you want, I enjoy Euron, a complete scenery chewer and killing machine, he does not waste time with torture like Ramsay, and holy shit his ship is scary!
Thoughts:
What will Cersei do with her gift? Elaria killed Myrcella, so will Cersei do the same to Tyene? And Yara is she part of the gift? Or will Euron do something with her? Will Cersei get the info that the Unsullied are headed to Castely Rock and have a trap waiting?

All of the opening scene at Dragonstone. Loved the storm. Great acting all around, especially Dinklage.
Randyl Tarly. Love that guy.
Samwell Tarly saving Jorah. Perfect. Great acting by John Bradley.
Arya and Nymeria. Loved how Nym didnt give a fuck and Arya realizes it after her brief moment of sadness. Great acting by Maisie.
GW and Missandei - always a fan of their romance. Glad they finally got to rub their nubs.
Can I just say how amazing Alfie is.....and Yara too. They made that scene. Urine was ok, but a godsend for wiping out half the Sand Snakes, who were horrible once again. Mama, mama, is the new bad pussy.
Olenna giving Dany advice
Jon giving Sansa the North
What I didnt like:
No Hound.

I do wonder if Tarley will side with Cersei, he seemed to really push his long time allegiance with Lady Ollena, I would not be surprised if he turned away from the Lannisters down the road.

Yeah Tarly is up in the air. And now I wonder if Theon goes to Winterfell or Dragonstone? Trailer showed him on a beach so I am inclined to think its Dragonstone and if he happens to get there at LF warp speed, then Jon is going to LOVE seeing him lol. I hope it happens. Need more Alfie.

B-Cog wrote this one, so we may have a heartbreaker here.
Say it ain't so. Some really really really bad dialogue in this one. Especially the Prince that was Promised exposition. Atrocious. And some deep ass tonguing fan service as well.
However, HOWEVER, Euron had a bad ass scene and he killed off some fucking Dornish ninja turtles (maybe anti-fan service?). Overall Grade: B
Change a few words around and show me Grey Worm's mangled mans pubis and he gets an A.
ETA: in the preseason hype I heard a lot about how the women in the show were coming into their own this season. If they meant that the women could be just as flawed as the men they were right.

I most certainly thought it was a heartbreaker when it came to Arya. That scene was few lines and all heart. And Dany's scenes were far from atrocious. Dany's stuff can be counted on generally to be flat and cringey. But these ones were nothing like that.
I just think you can't handle any book stuff and specifically any type of prophecy, so you're not reliable when it comes to any of that tPtwP. It was short, Mel made her point, Missandei had her imput and no "there's an invasion on the way" so I count it as decent.
